Lady Carmel

Lady Carmel pictured here is a dear friend of mine. When she visited recently she left behind this poncho. This had been knitted for her by her grandmother in the 1970s.

Sadly I could see this beautiful poncho was suffering from holes and mustiness. So I set out to revive her spirit.

She got a wash, detangling of all her tassels and anointing with fragrant oils and then I hand mended all the big holes in her structure.

Lady C and I were both very pleased to see her returned to her former glory. I love meeting and mending beautiful and sentimental garments.

Yours in humble service in the reviving of beautiful garments!
