Crystal Baskets

Hello Creatives and Crystal Lovers,

This workshop series will span 3 consecutive Saturday afternoons in the beautiful tropical grounds of Sheryl's Pure Heart Wellbeing Studio. The dates are the 16th, 23 rd and 30th May from 1-4 pm.

Sheryl with her love of crystals and energy will take us through a mediation to connect to the crystal that will then be woven into our baskets.

You will Learn the tradional skills of coil basket weaving using native fibres

I will be teaching -

* how to gather weavable native fibres in a sustainable way to care for the plants and environment

* how to prepare these fibres for weaving

* how to begin a basket (video available for home weaving)

* how to add in fibres to the coil of the basket

* how to add in weaving fibres 

* how to create the correct stitch and stitch tension

* how to shape the basket well

* how to complete the basket

* basket care in moist enviromnments.

The small group size will allow each participant will have ample opportunity to ask as many questions as needed to support them in completing a basket.
