Ode to a Heart Cave

Updated: Jul 21

Thunderous Union

Merging Nuptials

Grumbling Storm

Pounding Waves

Complete Abandon

Meets potency of straightness

Her cavernous twists

And underground tunnels

Carry tumultuous waves

A chortling chorus over smoothed pebbles and boulders

Through cavities lined with pubescent pink weed

To the end of her canal

The final crescendo

Like a hymn on a hymen

Is the thumping

The pounding

The oceanic heart beat

The reverberation

Echoing back out

Through the virgin tidal terrain
