Beyond Fast Fashion and Slow Fashion

Connection and attunement are key to the clothing service I offer.

It began this way with me seeing garments on my rampages through opp shops that were for my friends and I was convinced they would fit and be their style but I told myself I should mind my own business. The magic began when I shut the door of reason and opened into the care I held with people close to me. A gorgeous boutique full of garments began to be collected for friends known and friends still coming.

I have come to know that connection is beyond the current polarities in the fashion industry.

The fast fashion industry where garments are cheap, synthetic and one wear quality.

And the slow fashion movement where clothes are upcycled, mended and hand made.

I move into the middle zone of connection where neither fast or slow remain.
