Four years ago a dear friend Yvonne from Ireland asked me to make a basket for her son Evan
Evan was moving from Ireland to Melbourne and she wanted to gift him something of the land of Australia to grace his passage and ground his new life. š
Yvonne visited Evan for the first time in Melbourne and she saw the basket that she commissioned me to make for the first time.
She sent a picture through to show me that the basket is being well used for storing keys and she's in perfect condition four years later !
Woven with Australian native fibres and coloured with natural dyes.
